As Land & Partnership Manager, you will be the commercial driver of Weston Homes’ growth strategy, unlocking the full potential of our land portfolio by architecting strategic partnerships. This is a high-impact position at the heart of our business, connecting Land, Design & Planning and Commercial teams to structure winning bids and accelerate the supply of high-quality housing.
Your mission is to bridge the gap between opportunity and delivery. You will lead on identifying partnership tender opportunities and manage the bid process to meet our ambitious growth targets. By ensuring every site is backed by a robust commercial agreement and the right delivery partner, you will turn strategic opportunities into secured, viable contracts.
As our lead ambassador to the outside world, you will build deep-rooted connections with local authorities, housing associations and investors. You will be responsible for navigating complex procurement frameworks and sharing best practices to ensure our partnership delivery is not just functional, but industry-leading refining how we bid, negotiate, and deliver to create places that stand the test of time.
The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Win and Secure: Identify and lead on partnership tender opportunities, managing the bid process from inception to successful commercial close.
- Commercial Strategy: Structure complex agreements (Development Agreements and JCT’s) and optimise funding mechanisms to drive land-release decisions and accelerate site progression.
- Pipeline Acceleration: Bridge the gap between "opportunity" and "delivery" by ensuring all partnership deals are commercially sound and aligned with our strategic growth.
- Represent: Act as a trusted external ambassador for Weston Homes, positioning us as the partner of choice to investors and local authorities while championing our internal commercial performance.
