  • A little bit about the role...

  • As our HR Coordinator, you will be the central point of support for our HR team, ensuring that our administrative processes are handled with accuracy and care. You will join a collaborative team of four where your work directly enables the broader team to support the business effectively.

    This is a fast-paced and varied role where no two days are the same. You will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks that keep the department running smoothly, from maintaining precise employee records to ensuring our people receive the right information at the right time. We are looking for someone who takes pride in the details and enjoys being the "go-to" person for essential HR support.
     
    The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
     
    The Employee Journey
    • Onboarding: Managing the end-to-end New Starter process, including preparing offer letters, contracts and starter packs, while ensuring all HR records are updated. 
    • Offboarding: Coordinating the leaver process and preparing all necessary documentation and record updates.
    • References: Managing the reference process for new and former employees, ensuring all checks are completed and authorised.
    Records & Data Integrity
    • HRIS Maintenance: Ensuring all electronic personnel files and HR records are accurate, up-to-date and maintained in real-time via our in-house system COINS.
    •  Reporting: Contributing to the production of HR Board Reports and providing accurate data to the wider team
    Payroll & Benefits Support
    • Payroll Input: Tracking and reporting absence data to ensure weekly and monthly payroll processing is accurate and timely.
    • Benefits Admin: Handling the administration for healthcare, pension, and life insurance schemes.
    • Recognition: Managing our long service awards, including coordinating letters, purchasing gifts and updating internal records.
    Training & Engagement
    • Learning Support: Assisting with the communication of training schedules, tracking attendance and maintaining accurate records of learning agreements.
    • Absence Liaison: Working closely with the HR Business Partnering team to monitor and report on both short-term and long-term sickness.
    • Community: Coordinating volunteering opportunities and supporting internal wellbeing initiatives.

  • What we'd like in return...

    • CIPD Certificate in HR Practice (L3) (Desirable)
    • Excellent attention to detail 
    • Confident and clear presentation style
    • Up to date knowledge of employment law and HR good/best practice
    • Understanding and application of Data Protection Act
    • A knowledge/understanding of Employment Law to provide basic guidance on HR practices/policies
    • Computer literate specifically with GMail, Google Apps and Google Drive
